Application Process

Please note: Application Deadline for the Youth Ambassadors Across Canada Conference is January 1st, 2007

This application has two steps: STEP 1 is an application form to be submitted online and STEP 2 is written essay-type questions to be sent to us by email.

STEP 1: Online Application

We have set up an online application that has just a few personall questions (ie: name, address, phone number, etc.) that we would like to know about you.

Please note that when you are in the online form, you will not be able to save your questions You will however be able to click "back" and revisit and change your answers without losing them.

STEP 2: Essay Questions

We ask that you provide us with essay-style responses to the following three questions and when you have completed all three, send your responses by email to Nadia Smith at nadia@ala.ca.

Questions:

  1. Tell us a about yourself.
  2. Describe one key barrier that you face most often in your community.
  3. Picture yourself visiting your Member of Parliament to talk about an important change that you think should happen in your community. What would you like to talk to him/her about? Please explain.

Please note: After you have completed STEP 1, you can take your time to complete
STEP 2, as long as you send your responses by January 1, '07 at the latest.

Q: How will I know if you have received both parts of my application?

A: You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of each part of your application within two business days.

Q: Who do I contact if I have trouble with any part of the application process?
